We manufacture our chassis repair sections ourselves. Each is drawn in CAD, CNC cut for consistency, then formed and fabricated to match the vehicle.
Corrosion is cut back to sound metal before a replacement section is aligned and welded in. The repair restores the chassis where it needs it.
Eight stages.
One sound foundation.
Not every vehicle needs every stage. A proper inspection determines the work yours needs.
Strip down
Fuel tank, guards, exhaust and components removed for access. Body separation where the work requires it.
Shotblast
Fine abrasive media removes corrosion and old coatings, revealing the condition of the steel underneath.
Repair & fabricate
Corroded metal cut back to sound steel. Our CNC-cut replacement sections aligned and welded in.
Epoxy prime
Marine-grade epoxy primer gives the prepared steel its first protective layer.
Seal the seams
Joints sealed against water ingress. Optional stone-chip protection can be applied at this stage.
Apply topcoat
A marine-based 2K polyurethane finish protects the exterior surfaces.
Protect the cavities
Lanolin-based cavity wax applied inside box sections, protecting the areas paint cannot reach.
Reassemble
Components refitted and the vehicle brought back together, ready to go home.
